This session presents the results of a three day workshop with 3D and VR technologies by Max Wardle. The workshop brought together animators and anthropologists who developed ethnographic stories using 360 degree filming techniques.

The VR works will be presented at WINKEL (Suur-Karja 8) on Friday, 20th August from 1600 onwards.

The session will provide opportunities to rethink some of the key activities ethnographers and animators involve themselves in: observing, participating, creating, analyzing, and to become aware of the recursivity of their practice.

The activity is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through an ASTRA measure project “TLU TEE or Tallinn University as the promoter of intelligent lifestyle” (no 2014-2020.4.01.16-0033).
