The festival received more than 516 submissions from 68 countries. The heart of the festival is an international competition programmes that gives the audience a chance to see the best animated short films of the world from the last couple of years. The Animist Tallinn is holding a competition in two categories – Best Animated Short and Best Student Animated Short.
